Established in 1998 by three clinicians whose collective goal was to provide mental and behavioral health services to at-risk children, adults and families with limited resources in their local community.

Suncoast Mental Health Center provides an alternative to traditional therapy and psychiatric services by creating an environment that nurtures the child, affirms the adolescent, and empowers the adult and family.

Traditional and non-traditional services are offered in a variety of settings – school, home, community, Any four of our Suncoast Mental Health Center locations and/or telehealth.

Our staff work together - from intakes, billing, therapy/counseling, targeted case management, psychiatry and medication management - to provide comprehensive care and a holistic approach to treatment.

Client Testimonial

"I was on a waiting list for counseling through various companies when I received a call from Suncoast Mental Health Center. I scheduled my first appointment and right off the bat, it felt like I’d known my therapist for years. I had been in therapy for many years prior but never felt as comfortable as my therapist made me feel. I came to Suncoast an active alcoholic with childhood trauma, grieving losses, and in need of healing from domestic abuse in a former marriage. My therapist has helped me to achieve sobriety while working through those traumas. She shows compassion and understanding. I feel heard and leave our sessions feeling refreshed and ready to take on life’s next challenge. I always look forward to seeing her."
